This has got to be saddest drama I've ever watched.

Made me think, will there be anybody who will actually shed true tears for me if I am in a similar situation? Are there anybody in my life now who I will shed tears for? Will I find somebody who I love so much that I would be a Scheduler for 5 years just to meet once?

It's scary how I've thought of death. Not in the feel-like-committing-suicide-manner. Rather I'm afraid that people I know meeting with mishaps and stuff like that. And I'm afraid that I'll die while serving NS.

“今年考PSLE/ O Levels/ A Levels啊？”，“几时去当兵啊？”，“有没有女朋友/男朋友啊？”，“几时要结婚啊？”，“几时要生孩子啊？”. That's like standard questions I hear every CNY. Put it on repeat for like 5 people.

Ah, this Saturday will happen again when my parents' friends come to 拜年.

Then my 大姨 super cute, she said “哇，你变帅了，是不是因为没有读书，学别人变到酱hiao？” I swear only middle-aged women finds me 帅.

I've been eating like nobody's business. Cos usually the first place I go when I 拜年 is the place where the hongbaos are at then will be cookies area. I will try one of each then slowly eat the one I like best. Like a pro. By the time I enlist I won't be able to move more than 50 steps already.

Not a student anymore.

Not in NS yet.

Not working.

Nothing. Just nua-ing. Makes me miss school. Yah, me missing school. Shit just got serious.

My Dad has been encouraging me to get a part-time job. He suggested me to be the F&N boy. I think I won't be able to hold out for even a day. Carrying those cartons of drinks will make me become closer to the ground.

I think I need to start running/jogging soon. Lol, I actually tried to jog last week. At first I was planning to run like 6 rounds of 400m, which according to my brother is actually only 200+m, but I shall assume that it's 400m. During the first round I was "Haha, I'm still quite okay" But then... After the first round, I decided that I shall just finish 3 rounds, then slowly increase from there each day. Like a loser. And from that day onward I didn't run anymore. Sigh. Just eating all the CNY cookies and stuff. Doesn't help when my Dad made cookies over the weekends.

I'm not really looking forward to CNY this year. Usually I'll be, cause it'll be a school holiday. But this year after CNY I'll be enlisting . It could actually be a good thing cause I'll not be so free and have no idea what to do with my life. But I'm the kind of person who is rather resistant to change.

There's also the usual CNY 拜年 thing where relatives will be asking all kinds of standard questions, which I've already thought of. This year my parents are inviting their dancing friends over for a CNY gathering since 10 years ago. Good for them to meet up with their old friends and socialise a bit. Sometimes I feel that they spend all their time on my brother and I that they don't have their own life. It's like everything they are doing is for both of us. So I've been telling them to do things for themselves. Like maybe go on a holiday by themselves.

Ah, I've been ranting and rambling non-stop.

Yup, that pretty much sums up 2011 for me.

2011 went past really quickly. Preparing for BT1 & Nationals, then came BT2, Prelims and finally A Levels.

It really just went past like a flash.

6 years of shooting came to an end.

Gonna get a break after 12 years of education.

I became closer with some, I felt myself drifting away from close friends, I felt myself getting close then drifting away from some, but I felt myself getting closer to friends who I don't meet up often.

Never imagined myself to say this, but I miss school. I miss the dreaded feeling on the day before school starts. At least I know what to expect in school.

But now everything is going to change. No more being in a sheltered environment.

It's time to grow up. Be more mature. Learn to let go. People & stuff.

It's all gonna change after this year.

New Goal in Life

I've decided that owning a zoo is too mainstream.

So here's my ultimate goal in life now: Own a cruise with a zoo in it.

And I'll probably name it SuperStar Sherbit or something, after SuperStar Virgo. SuperStar Sherbit will sail around the world, stopping at various cities (Tokyo, London, New York, Paris, I'm so cool, I'm so cool, Party like a superstar!). Then I can visit my friends who might be living in various parts of the world.

So here's the concept of my cruise - Next to each enclosure there will be a room. So it's like you will be sleeping next to the animals then you can see them through the glass panel. Imagine waking up next to an elephant! So cool right! Of course there will also be rooms next to the crocodiles, lions, tigers etc. I'm sure there will be people who will want to book these rooms.

A major improvement to the room is that I will make sure the toilet is super big. The size of a room. Personally, I really dislike small toilets. Especially those where when you make a on-the-spot-turn and you will face the toilet bowl/ bathing area. Yup, not to mention a toilet that is shaking cos of the motion of the waves. Super scary to see the water in the toilet bowl trembling like there's a mini earthquake. Then I got slightly sea-sick. So another thing about SuperStar Sherbit is that it will be sailing super slowly. It will take 2 days for it to travel from Singapore to Pulau Ubin. :)

Another thing is that the casino on my cruise will trust that each person has integrity. I mean like seriously, each time I walk into the casino, the security stops me to verify that I'm of age to gamble. Can only blame myself for having a baby face and looking young forever, which is not necessarily a bad thing. So I will trust that everybody who walks into the casino is of age to gamble.

Plus I will hire hot people to be the bankers/ dealers. From my personal experience, this is a super good business tactic to employ to make people stay to gamble. Even though I was losing money, I continued playing cos of the cute looking dealer. Yup, I was just being superficial the whole time. But I managed to recoup my losses in the end.

One thing I will not have on board is a thrashy bar cos I had a super scary encounter with this drunk girl and guy. Mine will be a high class, wine-drinking kind of bar with jazz music playing in the background.

Most importantly, I will pack all my loved ones on board with a room named after each of them, a bit like the modern day Noah's Ark. My dad will be the master chef since he likes to cook. My mum can be a cashier at the casino since she loves to count money. My brother can... Do whatever he likes. My friends can also come on board to work (doctor, restaurant/cafe owner etc.)

The most awesome part is that I will be exposed to all kinds of jobs! I can be a zookeeper at the zoo looking after the penguins & elephants. I can be a singer at the bar with my own concert. I can be a fashion designer with my own fashion show in the auditorium and the hot dealers can stand in as models. I can be a waiter/ chef at the restaurants. I can work at the reception. I can also work as a cleaner for the rooms. So many kinds of jobs!

I felt like William Deresiewicz just now. So my broadband/ telephone line was down in the morning, then this Singtel guy came to fix it. He was speaking to me in 90% Chinese then I was replying in 75% English. I realise I totally cannot converse properly in Chinese anymore, which is quite sad. So I'm gonna start watching Taiwanese dramas/ shows again to brush up on my Chinese abilities.

I'm afraid of getting out of the house these few days. Either you get slashed by teenagers or you get bitten by dogs or you get stuck in a MRT tunnel. Actually I want to walk in the tunnel cos I think it's quite cool, but that's not the point. So I have some advice to all my readers to stay safe: Stay at home! If you really need to go out, don't look/ stare at people or even make eye contact. Better to be a bit more unfriendly these days. Or be like me, try to pull off the ah-beng/ ah-lian look, which in my case is just the dao look, then people will also be scared of you.

Anyway, I got the EAGLES award! Don't even know how I got it. Ah wells, I will just accept the free money~~

I've always thought that if I cannot be somebody with high IQ, the very least I can be proud of is that my EQ is not low. But I was proven wrong today.

When I was on the bus to school today, there was this old man who sat next to me. He had this unkempt look and not the usual nice-looking old man you will see along the street. He looked like he had not bathed for days and he was carrying tons of stuff. Probably looking for another place to rest for the night or something.

So I guess he was feeling super tired and he started to sleep. Then he started to lean on me and I felt uncomfortable so I came up with all sort of ways to push him away.

What really made me feel bad was whenever he woke up, he will look at me with this look that thought that I look down on him or something. Worse was when I reached my stop and moved out from the seat, he said sorry to me.

Felt like a total ass after that.

I've always told myself to treat all the elderly like how I would treat my grandparents. And I believe that everybody should as well. But I don't think I accomplished that judging from today. Like there is this major flaw in my character.

It's okay to be stupid, but it's not okay to be rude and impolite.

Mentally and physically. Damn prelims. I've been sleeping longer for my afternoon naps than my actual sleep time at night. Screwed up sleep time plus eating all kinds of food to make me stay awake is making me ugly and fatter. Need to learn from bao.

The week was just horrible. Everything was bad. So dead for A Levels.

Anyway, I hate it when right after the paper everybody just gather to discuss the paper.

There will be the "Omg, the paper is so difficult, I think I'm gonna fail! How? How?" kind of people, who are unfortunately the ones who scores A for the paper.

Then there are also the "I think the paper quite easy leh. I should do quite well" kind of people, who are fortunately the ones who fails worse than me.

Then there's me:

Pretty much what I experienced for each paper.

Running helps me keep sane these few weeks. It's like all the pent up frustration in me gets released when I run. Then it will slowly start to build up again. So it's kinda a form of release for me now.

And passed by Yishun just now on the train. Reminded me of shooting. Lol. Especially the long way from Yishun to Khatib there's this huge lake/river/reservoir thingy.

Argghh, I don't think I make sense now. Gonna sleep.

I finally managed to get my family to go running with me today!!

But they are eating fish n' chips now, which kinda defeats the purpose. At least they took the first step right, so still got hope.

So now my family is having some kind of healthy living campaign thingy. They bought this electronic weighing machine (which is dam cool!) to keep track of their weight. Now my goal is to gain weight while theirs is to lose weight! LOLOL.

I had fun during JTS today!! But then wont be able to play anymore cos I saw this on Facebook: "1 more day to the elusive '100 day countdown' on 31 July to A Levels". So as somebody who believes that everything on FB is true, this is OMGWTFSHERBITGGTIMESINFINITY time. Time to start mugging every single week, day, hour, minute, second.
